La folie effraie, indéniablement. Vous aurez noté à quel point le sujet lui-même est mis au banc de nos sociétés modernes. L’art est l’un des rares espaces où on lui fait fasse. La littérature et surtout le cinéma (on se souvient bien sûr de “Vol au-dessus d’un nid de coucou”, de “L’échelle de Jacob...) s’y sont frottés mais le théâtre, bien peu. L’originalité de cette pièce réside dans le fait de ne pas définir la folie. Ou plutôt d’en définir des contours qui ne sont pas intrinsèques au personnage lui-même. Bien au contraire. David Léon s’est en effet attaché à démonter, déchiqueter avec une rigueur clinique et un verbe direct et acéré le carcan familial et le carcan administratif dans lequel l’individu tente d’exister, de se mouvoir, d’exprimer son malaise, sa peine. Qu’est-ce qui rend fou ? Qu’est-ce qui entretient la folie ? Confronté au suicide de son frère, sa famille ne sera pas le cocon tendre et compassionnel qui l’aideront à faire son deuil. Ce que Boris Cyrulnik définit comme l’appel conduisant à la résilience. Et si seulement l’institution prenait le relai. Mais il n’en est rien. Le traitement se contentera d’être administratif. Les mots feront mal. Rien ne protègera, ne réconfortera.

UN ANGE EN SCENE

C’est bien à cela que le texte mais aussi la mise en scène (en abime) d’Hélène Soulié ont réussi, sur ce miroir explosé où l’on tente malgré tout, envers et contre tout de reconstruire un JE. Un ange, hésitant, fragile, luttant contre le souvenir, contre la mère, le père, l’hôpital, le monde pour trouver les mots justes, pour trouver la force de les articuler. Pas tant pour leur sens que pour raconter l’indicible, l’insoutenable. Un comédien est né là, s’est fait ange pour vous dire qu’il est possible de vivre en dépit de l’horreur que les morts comme les vivants vous font vivre. Il s’appelle Manuel Vallade, un ange de chair et de sang. Allez lui donner votre souffle, votre force, votre amour… ceux qui manquent cruellement à celui qu’il incarne. La lumière jaillissant de ses yeux sera en retour votre bénédiction.

Pitch : “Sauver la peau” s’ouvre sur la lettre de démission d’un éducateur d’une institution spécialisée dans le soin et l’accompagnement éducatif d’enfants et d’adolescents psychiquement fragilisés.

Le narrateur nous délivre une parole directe, confrontant ce qu’il nomme « le carcan familial » au carcan institutionnel d’éducation ». Par un jeu d’entrecroisements des prises de paroles multiples, le texte scrute comment la violence verbale s’exerce de part et d’autre, jusqu’à nous interroger en ligne de fond sur ce qui constitue nos identités dans le frottement subtil entre l’espace intime et l’espace professionnel.

BEST ENEMIES AROUND ME

Madness frightens undeniably. You will have noticed how the subject itself is brought to the bench of modern society. Art is one of the few places where it is made to do. Literature and especially the cinema (remember of course “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest”, the “Jacob’s Ladder …) but it rubbed theater, very little. The the originality of this piece lies in the failure to define madness. Or rather to define contours that are not intrinsic to the character himself. on the contrary. David Leon is indeed attached to disassemble, shred with clinical precision and sharp verb and a direct family shackles and administrative straitjacket in which the individual tries to exist, to move, to express his discomfort, his sentence. what drives you crazy? what maintains madness? Faced with the suicide of his brother, his family will not be tender and compassionate cocoon that will help to mourn. what Boris Cyrulnik defined as the call leading to resilience. and if only the institution took the baton. But it is not. the treatment will merely be administrative. the words will hurt. Nothing will protect, will give comfort.

AN ANGEL ON STAGE

It is to this that the text but also the staging (in abyss) Helen Soulie were successful on this exploded mirror where one tries despite everything, against all odds to rebuild a JE. An angel, hesitant, weak, struggling against the memory, against the mother, the father, the hospital, the world to find the right words, to find the strength to articulate them. Not so much for their meaning to tell the unspeakable, unbearable. An actor was born there, became angel to tell you it is possible to live in spite of the horror that the dead as living let you live. His name is Manuel Vallade, an angel of flesh and blood. Go give it your breath, your strength, your love … those who starved to that it embodies. The light of her eyes welling will back your blessing.

Pitch: “Save the skin” opens on the resignation of a teacher of an institution specializing in the care and educational support for children and psychologically vulnerable adolescents.

The narrator delivers us a direct word, confronting what he calls “the family straitjacket” institutional education straitjacket. “By a set of intersections of multiple catch words, the text examines how verbal violence is exercised either side until we interrogate bottom line on what constitutes our identities in the subtle friction between intimate space and the professional space.
